Pondside Kitchens and Hearth has been family-owned and operated since 2004 — and it still feels that way the moment you walk in.

Meet the Team

Small on purpose. When you call, visit or message us through your project portal, you're talking to the same people who design, order and follow through on your project.

With Pondside for more than fifteen years, Stacey brings deep kitchen-design experience and a sharp eye for color, texture and how a room really gets used. If you’ve admired a Pondside kitchen, there’s a good chance it started on her screen.

Since 2004

Our Story

Karen and Stephen Bradley founded Pondside in 2004, growing it from a modest woodworking operation into a full-service kitchen and hearth showroom on Main Street in Deep River — with a custom cabinet shop just up the road in Chester.

The mission has never changed: bring warmth to the whole home with beautiful, thoughtfully designed kitchens and hearth products at realistic, affordable pricing. Stephen leads fireplace and stove sales and handles in-home measurements; Karen keeps the business running day to day.

Upon visiting the store you'll meet the owners themselves, senior designer Stacey Dady, Sara Decker — and, more than likely, Mariner and Cinder, our four-legged welcoming committee. That's the whole team, and it's why the experience feels personal.

The Showroom & the Shop

Our Deep River showroom fills a classic New England house with working kitchen displays, a Granite Room of slabs and samples, and a hearth room where stoves burn live so you can feel the heat for yourself.

When a project calls for something truly one-of-a-kind — a hutch, a wall unit, an odd corner solved beautifully — our Chester cabinet shop builds it custom, the way the business began.

How We Work

We'd rather educate than pressure. Bring your ideas and your budget; we'll give you straight answers, honest comparisons between brands and materials, and a free estimate — then let the quality speak. Don't take our word for it: read our five-star reviews on Google or browse our projects on Houzz.

Stop in and say hello — the coffee's on and the stoves are warm.

Stop by the Deep River showroom or call — estimates are always free.
