Fabricator-Direct Countertops

  • Granite
  • Marble
  • Quartz
  • Corian

Choosing a countertop can be overwhelming — every material has advantages and trade-offs. As a fabricator-direct dealer we sell every major surface: natural granite and marble, quartz from Cambria, Caesarstone, Silestone and Viatera, plus Corian solid surface. Granite remains the most affordable natural stone; quartz is today's most popular choice for its stain resistance; Corian is one of the few 100% non-porous surfaces — bacteria can't be absorbed, and it's endlessly repairable.

We work directly with the fabricator on every top — we don't fabricate them ourselves, and that direct relationship is exactly how the pricing stays sharp. The same goes for bathroom countertops and vanity tops in every material we carry. Come browse hundreds of samples in the showroom.

Good to know

Kitchen & Countertop Questions

How much does a new kitchen from Pondside cost?

It depends on the size of the room, the cabinet line and door style, and the countertop material — which is why every estimate is free. True semi-custom lines (Fabuwood, Schrock, Decora) are the most budget-friendly place to start; fully custom lines (Brighton, Plain & Fancy) cover anything a catalog cannot. Bring photos and your ideas to the showroom and we will price real options for you — we do the measuring.

What is the difference between semi-custom and custom cabinets?

Semi-custom cabinets are built to order from a set menu of sizes, door styles and finishes — excellent quality at a strong value, which is what Fabuwood, Schrock and Decora do so well. Custom cabinets, like Brighton and Plain & Fancy, are built to your exact dimensions in any style, wood species or paint, so nothing has to be a filler strip or a compromise. We carry both, and our design team will tell you honestly which one your kitchen actually needs.

Which countertop is best: granite, quartz or Corian?

There's no single best — each has trade-offs. Granite is natural stone and still the most affordable solid surface. Quartz (Cambria, Caesarstone, Silestone, Viatera) is today's most popular choice for its stain resistance and consistent look. Corian solid surface is one of the few 100% non-porous materials, can have an integrated sink, and is endlessly repairable. The best way to decide is to stand next to full slabs and samples in our showroom.

How long does a kitchen take from design to installation?

It varies a lot from project to project — a few weeks for a simple job, and sometimes months when a fully custom line or a bigger renovation is involved. Design and selections usually come first, then the cabinets are built to order, and countertops are templated once the cabinets are in. We give you a realistic schedule for your project up front and track every milestone in your online portal.

Do you do bathroom vanities and vanity tops?

Yes. We supply bathroom countertops and vanity tops in every material we carry — in stock, semi-custom and custom — though we do not fabricate them ourselves; we work directly with our fabricators. We can supply vanity cabinets from our cabinet lines too. We do not take on full bathroom remodels, but your vanity and top are in good hands.

Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?

Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday, 9 to 4. For a design consultation we recommend calling ahead so a designer is free to sit down with you.

What cabinet brands do you carry?

We are a factory-authorized dealer for Fabuwood, Schrock, Decora, Brighton Cabinetry and Plain & Fancy. Schrock and Decora are true semi-custom lines; Brighton and Plain & Fancy are fully custom — and Plain & Fancy, built in the heart of Pennsylvania, is the most exclusive and fully customizable line we carry.

Can I replace just my countertops and keep my cabinets?

Yes. Countertop-only projects are common. We template your existing cabinets, you choose the slab or sample in the showroom, and the new tops are fabricated to fit. A new sink and faucet at the same time is the easiest upgrade to add.

Which quartz brands do you sell?

Cambria, Caesarstone, Silestone and Viatera are the ones on our logo wall — but we represent essentially every major national quartz manufacturer, plus natural granite and marble and Corian solid surface. As a fabricator-direct dealer we can usually match a color you have seen elsewhere.

Do you offer kitchen design, or just sell cabinets?

Design and cabinetry go together here — we design the kitchens we sell, so the drawings, the cabinets and the pricing all line up. Our design team is Stacey Dady, who has been with Pondside for more than fifteen years, and Sara Decker. They lay out the room, choose door styles, finishes, hardware and surfaces with you, and produce the drawings your installer needs.

Will you come to my house to measure?

Yes — for kitchen and bath projects the in-home measure is our job, not yours, and it is part of the process. Just bring your photos and your ideas to the showroom to get started and we will take care of the rest.

Do you handle small projects like a laundry room or a single vanity?

Absolutely. From a single vanity top to a full custom kitchen, small projects get the same designers, the same brands and the same free estimate.
